On valentines day the children came into school wearing clothes that they love!
Student council organised a cake sale to raise money for enriching resources for school.
Year 3 are so proud of their cushions. They have been ‘sew’ engaged in Design & Technology.
Take a look at our work below!
In forest school, Reception are enjoying engaging in the RSPB ‘big garden bird watch.’ We have been learning about the top ten most common garden birds. We therefore took our binoculars to forest school to see which ones we could spot. We used our tick list to identify two black birds and a sparrow. We also made bird feeders to entice more birds into our forest school. We utilised our fine motor skills by threading cheerios onto string and then hung them from the trees to create a tasty bird treat.
Year 4 were invited to attend an athletics event at Temple Park in South Shields to take part in a series of sports activities. They returned to school victorious and were awarded first place WINNERS!

The children were so proud to return to school and show off their medals.
Congratulations Year 4 – we are so proud!

Today our fabulous school choir attended Campbell Court to perform festive songs to all of the residents. The children wished them all a merry christmas this included a retired Valley View headteacher and a Valley View boy who attended our school 95 years ago!

Eco Warriors have launched their first project!
They delivered compost bins to every classroom so we can capture waste from our fruit snacks.
Eco Warriors will empty the bins into our compost bin then add some worms so we can make our own compost for planting and growing our own crops!
We are Waste Eco-Warriors!
What a wonderful evening, student council switched on the Christmas lights at Primrose CA and our choir sang beautifully to our Primrose Community!
