I have every confidence in both the children and yourselves and I know that the children can do this! They are so resilient and are absolute super stars.
Here is the work for this week. We have completed a Culture Week all about Thailand. I hope the children enjoy learning all about this spectacular country.
There are tasks set that will need to be sent over Dojo- you can simply take a picture of the work and send it if this is easiest. Alternatively, there is an option to add as a file.
There will also be some work set on Purple Mash – this is made clear on the Slide Show.

It was so lovely to see everyone on our Transition Rainbow Event, we loved seeing your smiles! Your new staff are really looking forward to teaching you and Mrs Parker and I are extremely proud of you all.

Thank you for another super week of home learning my little treasures. You are glittering as brightly as diamonds in the sunshine! I am so excited to see your smiling faces on our video call on Wednesday 24th June at 2pm. You will be able to tell us your news. I hope you are all well and having fun. Did you have a look at our duck videos yesterday? They have finished their holidays and are back in school at Hedworthfield. I hope you had fun looking at pond habitats yesterday. 🦆

Welcome back! I hope you had a super holiday and did lots of fun things – I had a long walk along the beach – it was so hot! Maybe you could write what you did like a postcard. Remember capital letters, full stops, finger spaces and adjectives to describe.
Literacy: ixl jobs are about synonyms today. Synonyms are words that mean the same thing like happy-delighted, said-whispered.
Maths: use your x table knowledge to do some dividing on ixl. See if you can use counters, Cheerios or drawing smarties to do some dividing- remember your groups have to be equal!
TT Rockstars – the battle between boys and girls will commence at noon today and end at noon on Friday – who will be the champions this week? 🏆🌈

Literacy: read a book and think about what questions you would ask the character or the author if you met them. Could you write some questions using capital letters and a question mark? Here are more stories by the author Emily Gravett including the full story of ‘Cyril and Pat’. Watch all three stories and look at the questions below. Do you recognise one of these from our bookshelf?
Questions to use your reading skills like we do in Guided Reading:
Which one has a character called Cedric in it?
Who was your favourite character and why?
Compare the books, was there anything similar or different about them?
If your friend wanted to read one of these books, which one would you recommend and why?

- Set 2 Speed Sounds at 10.00 am and again at 1:00pm
- Set 3 Speed Sounds at 10.30 am and again at 1:30pm
